Begin Your Bellagio Center Residency Journey
Application & Review Platform

For over 60 years, the Rockefeller Foundation's Bellagio Center Residency Program has supported leading innovators and changemakers to advance specific breakthrough projects. Set on Lake Como, Italy, the 26-day program hosts up to 14 scholars, artists, and practitioners for collaboration and idea exchange in an interdisciplinary environment. Residents receive room, board, workspace, and travel funding as needed, along with opportunities to build connections through the Bellagio Network.

The Bellagio Center Residency Program supports projects at any stage - research, writing, planning, or production - that demonstrate strong potential for social impact and have clear public benefit. Applications from all fields are welcome, with particular interest this year in work related to universal energy abundance; food systems and nutrition; economic mobility; health; artificial intelligence for good; catalytic finance; and climate and development.
